Hero Weizen A light bodied, wheat color hefeweizen complete with all of the unique flavors a true hefeweizen has to offer. Our HeroWeizen features a golden wheat color and a pleasantly subtle banana and clove taste; courtesy of the yeast. Hops are delicately added throughout the brewing process to help control the tart sweetness without inhibiting the sweet flavor. This refreshing beer is the perfect companion to a hot summer day (or night)!

Hop Hero Welcome to the Hop Hero Experiment. This American IPA is our 'sandbox' IPA where we get to play with it, have some fun, and then do it all over again. That's right, it's a sequentially changing brew in our lineup. Every time we brew up a batch of Hop Hero, we'll tweak the hop additions to give it a different flavor each time. We'll number the batches so you can keep track of your favorites, but don't wait too long to get a sample; before long we'll be on to the next batch. Oh yea, and for the most part, this beer will only be available at the brewery...for now.

Red Horn Ale This Irish Red Ale is anything but your average Irish Red Ale. Built upon the appreciation for a full bodied red ale, mastered with the intentions of great flavor, and delivered as a pleasing alternative to the common Irish Ale; Red Horn Ale is for the traditional non-traditionalist. A heavy grain bill packed with sweet, fermentable malts adds to the rich color and full body of the beer. Fuggles and East Kent Golding hops are added in strict moderation in order to maintain the beer’s sweet flavor. This lightly hopped beer is a favorite among our friends and family and is great with any occasion.

Schweet Ale A simple, yet flavorful strawberry wheat which we like to think of as our gateway brew to the wonderful world of craft beers. From summertime lawn parties to beautiful spring weddings, our Schweet Ale has made an appearance in all facets of the beer drinking world. We delicately utilize Cascade and Centennial hops so as to not overcome the underlying strawberry finish. A hearty grain bill of carefully selected grains ensures a light, golden color with a full, sweet flavor guaranteed to satisfy an array of palettes from the novice beer sipper to the veteran brewmeister.

Freight House Porter This is our Porter. A dark, fairly robust beer with a hint of roasty and chocolaty malts towards the finish. It's not overbearing though and doesn;t sit too heavy. A nice sessionable porter which is also packed full of flavor. This is a dark beer for all types of beer drinkers.

Adam's Stout This stout recipe, like most of our other recipes, was developed at the homebrew level long before we opened the brewery. What sets this beer apart from our other beers is the fact that one of our good friends, also known as a 'Brew Pal,' helped us brew this recipe. While at the homebrew level, our good friend, Adam, asked if we could help him develop and brew a stout beer. So, we tinkered around a little bit, picked up some ingredients, and brewed up a batch of stout. We kept half of the beer and Adam took half home with him. Every time we brewed the beer again, we affectionately referred to it as 'Adam's Stout.' It's an extremely sessionable beer that's actually a little lighter than our porter. It has a nice, but subtle roasty flavor with a smooth finish.

Irregardless IPA A medium bodied IPA with loads of hops including Centennial, Nugget, Bravo, and our personal favorite: Citra! The Citra hops shine through giving this IPA a subtle citrusy/grapefruity flavor. The flavor is balanced and features a generous hop profile without quite punching you square in the face with hop bitterness. It's good enough for a hop head, yet easy enough for the hop-novice.

What The Floc A heavily hopped Double IPA with healthy doses of Cascade, Nugget, Warrior, and Columbus. The big malty base is well balanced out with the extra dosing of hops. Alcohol comes in at a generous 9%, but is no where to be found in the flavor. Named for the expression the yeast gives when the high-octane wort enters the fermenter, this extra special Double IPA is sure to please all hop lovers alike.

The Mix A simple concoction made with half Schweet and half HeroWeizen. Poured directly out of the tap and mixed right in thhe pint glass. The Mix mellows out both beers and offers a nice, light wheat beer flavor with a subtle hint of strawberry.

Hoke Fest To celebrate the month of beer, we tip our pints to the beloved pumpkin and utilize some extra special pumpkin pie spices, along with real pumpkin, and brew up a season-complementing Pumpkin Ale. Our Hoke Fest features pumpkin pie spices, real pumpkin, and a few other seasonal spices. It's a dark amber colored brew with a hearty body and a great, yet not overpowering, pumpkin pie flavor. It's a great beer for the season and a perfect way to get ready for the dark-beer season to come.

Pub Santa So, you may not believe in Santa anymore, but do you believe in Pub Santa? He's the real deal and he actually lives (and drinks) in York, PA! He can been seen at several local bars including the tasting room at Liquid Hero Brewery. This winter brew is dedicated to the great Pub Santa and is our rendition of a Christmas ale with several spices including cinnamon, vanilla, and orange peel. The spices are subtle and not everyone picks up on each one. This is a warming Christmas Ale that comes in above 6% ABV.

Imperial Stout The great Imperial Stout, the first beer we haven't put a name to and simply called it by what it is; it's an imperial stout. A dark, roasty, and bold stout with full-on mouthfeel and full-on Stout flavor. The high abv is well masked within the complex grain bill and is a dangerously easy-drinker. This is one of our 'full-time-experimental' beers with limited availability at the brewery.
